Spring at last!

It has been a very interesting winter in Michigan based on the Covid-19 restrictions. Hopefully by the time you receive this newsletter things will be more back to normal!  

We are still planning on having a carp removal by professionals netting them in the Spring.  Next we should have a report in April from Grand Valley State College on whether the aeration  or muck pellets will help the lake or have been helping the lake. We are also working with the Hess Lake Board to see if the state will allow alum treatment which helps to create water clarity, fish growth and native plant production.  These things are to improve the water quality as well as fish habitat.
